Nearly all bosses are ‘accidental’ with no formal management training—and research shows it’s leading 1 in 3 workers to quit. The Chartered Management Institute research found just 18% receive formal training, placing at risk the engagement, productivity and retention of those members of staff that work with them.

I help organisations reduce the failure rate of managers and leaders in the highest risk first 18 months, and enable them to be capable and effective faster.

I do this through two primary approaches:

1. An EQ upgrade: helping leaders improve their communication skills to build relationships, influence, and their ability to land the message.
2. Core management skills training: from best practice methods for 121s and appraisals, through to workshops on how to coach staff effectively.
